Water Masa Harina Mexican Chocolate Piloncillo (or brown sugar) Cinnamon Stick Milk Evaporated Milk

Ingredients

Step 1

Toast Masa Harina. In a medium pan, toast masa harina until golden.

Step 2

Boil Water. Add cinnamon stick to boiling water and add piloncillo. Simmer until dissolved.

Step 3

Add Chocolate. Add chocolate disk and stir until dissolved.

Step 4

Add Milks. Stir in milk and evaporated milk. Simmer on low.

Step 5

Add Masa. Blend masa with a little water. Slowly add to the milk mixture and whisk constantly.

Step 7

Serve.
