Brew your strong coffee or espresso using a Moka Pot or espresso machine. See blog post for more details on this step.
Pour two cups of chocolate almond milk in a microwave-safe measuring cup or container. Heat the almond milk for 2-3 minutes until desired heat is reached (you can also heat in a small pot on the stovetop).
Once hot, pour the milk into the French press. The level of the milk in the French press needs to be high enough so that the plunger can be completely submerged in the liquid. Two cups of milk should do it, but if not then add a little more.
Place the plunger inside the French press and carefully pump the plunger up and down. Keep pumping until the milk level has almost doubled in volume.
Pour 1/4 cup of espresso into a large mug.
Pour the frothy almond milk from the French press over the coffee until the mug is filled to the top. Use a long spoon to mix the coffee at the bottom of the mug with the almond milk.
If you are using regular coffee, taste your drink and add more coffee if needed to reach your desired coffee taste.
