Smooth, rich, and bursting with berry flavor, Creamy Blueberry Agua Fresca is a luscious twist on a Mexican classic. Blending sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and juicy blueberries creates a deliciously, velvety texture. The natural sweetness of the berries balances beautifully with the creamy base. It is an indulgent, yet refreshing and nourishing drink. Plus, with a dairy-free option, everyone can enjoy this agua de arandanos cremosa.
Add 2 cups of water, condensed milk, evaporated milk, vanilla, blueberries and 1 cup of ice to a blender.
Blend for 2-3 minutes until completely smooth.
Optional: For a smoother consistency and to get rid of any small seeds from the blueberries, you can strain the agua fresca after blending through a fine-mesh sieve.
Pour into a large pitcher and mix in 2 more cups of cold water. If a lighter consistency or less sweetness is desired, mix in 1 more cup of water.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour until cold or serve immediately over ice.
Notes
Adjust Sweetness: You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sweetened condensed milk. If you prefer it to be less sweet, I suggest staring with about ¼ cup and add more as needed.
