Dairy-Free Duraznos con Crema is a light, creamy Mexican dessert made with juicy fresh peaches and a rich blend of non-dairy yogurt, coconut condensed milk and coconut cream. This peaches and cream is the perfect summer treat, fruity, silky and just the right amount of sweet.

Whenever peaches are in season, I can't help but over-indulge on these sun-kissed fruits, whether it's yellow peaches, white peaches, or even nectarines, I love them all! Their juicy sweetness makes them the perfect base for one of my favorite summertime treats.
This recipe was inspired by another one of my go-to Mexican desserts, Dairy-Free Strawberries and Cream. But instead of strawberries, this version uses sliced peaches mixed with a delicious cream that features my homemade Coconut Condensed Milk. It's completely dairy-free and made with a few simple ingredients, but is still rich, tangy and naturally sweet. It is a light, wholesome dessert that's easy to make and refreshing.

Ingredients & Substitutions
To make this simple dessert, you'll need just a handful of ingredients. I recommend using fresh, ripe peaches for the best flavor and natural sweetness. For the cream, I use my Homemade Coconut Condensed Milk, but you can also find store-bought versions. If you prefer a traditional version with dairy, check the recipe card for simple substitutions.
See recipe card for other ingredients and quantities.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Make the Cream: In a large bowl, whisk together the yogurt, condensed milk, coconut cream and vanilla (if using) until smooth and creamy.
- Chill the Cream: Cover and chill the cream while you prepare the peaches.
- Cut the Peaches: Slice the peaches in half, remove the pits, and cut into thin slices, cubes, or wedges, whichever you prefer.
- Combine: Add the sliced peaches to the chilled cream and gently stir to coat the fruit evenly.
- Chill Again: Cover and chill the mixture for 15-30 minutes before serving. The longer it rests, the more the flavors will meld together.
Hint: If your peaches aren't ripe or sweet enough, sprinkle them with a little sugar or honey and let them sit for 15 minutes to help bring out their natural juices and sweetness before mixing them into the cream.

Nutpods Creamer
In place of the coconut cream, I also like to use Nutpods. It is a dairy-free creamer made of a combination of coconut cream and almonds. Use my code EVERYDAYLATINA to get 15% off your first order.
How to Serve
Serve chilled in small bowls or glasses, or set out in a large dish for guests to help themselves. If you'd like, you can garnish with dairy-free whipped cream, granola or a sprinkle of cinnamon. For the best flavor, let it rest in the fridge before serving so the peaches can absorb the flavors and cream.
Storing
Store leftovers in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days. Avoid freezing, as the cream can become icy and the peaches mushy.
