    Bright, fresh, and bursting with flavor, Peach Pico de Gallo is a vibrant twist on the classic Mexican salsa. Sweet, juicy peaches replace tomatoes, creating a sweet and spicy balance. It's a simple, wholesome and refreshing salsa that's great on tacos, grilled meats, or with tortilla chips.

    When peaches are at their peak, I can't get enough of them! They've always been my favorite fruit, sweet, juicy and with such an amazing flavor. I recently discovered just how incredible they can be in savory dishes too, like today's recipe for pico de gallo with peaches.

    In this twist on the classic Mexican staple, tomatoes are swapped with fresh peaches. The rest of the traditional ingredients remain the same, and the combination results in a salsa that's sweet, tangy, and refreshing.

    Like my traditional Pico de Gallo, Mango Pico de Gallo, and Roasted Corn Pico de Gallo, this version highlights seasonal produce, while keeping the recipes simple and wholesome. Peaches also add a vibrant flavor and plenty of vitamins, fiber, and antioxidants.

    Ingredients & Substitutions

    This recipe comes together in minutes with a few fresh and simple ingredients. Be sure to use ripe, juicy peaches, their natural sweetness and flavor are what makes this salsa so delicious. I like using white onions for their crisp, mild flavor that won't overpower the other ingredients. Jalapeños, cilantro and lime juice round out the salsa.

    Step-by-Step Instructions

    1. Prep Ingredients: Small dice the peaches, onion, jalapeño and cilantro.

    1. Combine and Season: Add all diced ingredients to a large bowl. Season with salt and fresh lime juice.

    1. Mix and Serve: Gently toss everything together until well combined. Serve immediately or allow to sit for 15-30 minutes to allow the flavors to come together.

    How to Serve

    Serve at room temperature or chilled and paired with one of the following:

    • 2 fresh peaches
    • 2 medium jalapeños
    • ¼ white onion
    • 2 tablespoon chopped cilantro
